We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our friendly and collaborative finance team at our Houlden Head Office. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting the smooth running of our finance operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills and previous accounts experience to contribute to a dynamic organisation within the luxury retail sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Handling supplier queries and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and assisting with monthly payment runs.
  • Supporting banking activities and monthly reconciliations.
  • Raising sales invoices and processing incoming receipts.
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and other financial tasks as required.
  • Keeping financial records up to date and supporting general finance administration.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSExperience:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant role.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills with a team-focused attitude.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Organised and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement.
