Are you a strategic leader with a strong track record in developing partnerships and driving business growth within the built environment or housing sectors? We are seeking a dynamic Regional Partnerships Director to lead the identification, development, and delivery of new business opportunities aligned with our client’s regional growth strategy.

As the Regional Partnerships Director, you will work directly with the Regional Managing Director to shape and execute a robust business development plan. You will spearhead market analysis, maintain high-level relationships, and oversee the bid and tender process to ensure sustained growth across partnership and contracting opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic identification and pursuit of new business opportunities aligned with the 5-year plan.
  • Analyse market trends, policies, and legislation relevant to property and construction sectors.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of government policies and public funding mechanisms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities, and other key stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead on the submission of tenders, proposals, and promotional materials.
  • Provide leadership to a high-performing business development team, ensuring compliance, professional development, and performance review processes are maintained.
  • Represent the region at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a senior business development or strategic partnerships role, ideally within construction, housing, or regeneration.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and partnership models (e.g., JV, ALMO, PFI, LSVT).
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Egan Agenda and partnering principles, and how they apply to successful, collaborative project delivery.
  • High-level familiarity with contract forms, KPIs, benchmarking, and customer charters.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and strategic reporting.
