Financial Accountant - Hybrid - Cardiff

I am recruiting for a a suitably experienced Financial Accountant with solid hands on experience within an Operational Accounting role with experience running end-to-end month end within the manufacturing industry.

This is a hybrid role, two days per week on-site near Cardiff.

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience with Manufacturing AccountingOperational Accounting responsibilities including:

• Month End Close
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Journal Entries
• Perform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet performance.
• Fixes Assets
• VAT & Tax Accounting
• Payroll Accounting
• AP & AR oversight
• Internal Controls
• Work closely with Tax, Treasury and Group Reporting teams.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.
• Process improvement and automation, e.g. reducing month end from 8 days to 5 days.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Advanced Excel
