Accounts Payable Supervisor (Purchase Ledger)

About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join our Accounts team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the purchase ledger function, ensuring the smooth and accurate completion of all monthly purchase ledger activities. Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments are processed accurately and within agreed timescales
• Managing and monitoring supplier payment runs, cash allocations, and direct debits
• Working closely with departmental managers and suppliers to resolve invoice queries efficiently
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating and resolving any discrepancies

What We’relooking For

• Proven experience within accounts payable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
• The ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
• Previous experience within the motor trade would be advantageous, though not essential.
