Insights from Leaders
Jennie Ellis, careers and employment team manager at Careers Worcestershire, highlighted: "Having a positive outlook is crucial when job searching or deciding on your next career, education, or training move. That positivity often comes from taking care of both your physical and mental wellbeing." She added, "Let's Move! Week is about helping young people build confidence and motivation through simple, achievable activities, so they feel more resilient, focused, and positive about their next steps."
Coun Alan Amos, Worcestershire County Councilâs cabinet member for business and skills, encouraged participation: "Let's Move! Week is an opportunity for young people to take responsibility for their wellbeing. Confidence and positive habits don't happen by chance; they are built through motivation and support. I would strongly encourage young people aged 16 to 24 to take part in the sessions on offer and make the most of the support provided by Careers Worcestershire."
