LIIBA Launches Emerging Claims Committee to Foster Early Career Growth
In an exciting development for the London insurance market, the London & International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA) has introduced the Emerging Claims Committee (LECC). This initiative is specifically designed to support and represent individuals at the early stages of their claims careers, offering them a platform to influence the future direction of the claims function.

The LECC aims to engage with pivotal industry issues, including:

Additionally, it seeks to promote broader objectives such as education, collaboration, and talent development within the claims discipline.
Committee Composition and Leadership
The committee boasts a diverse membership, representing various levels of experience and expertise across all lines of business and placement types. With up to 14 members, the LECC is a true reflection of the market's diversity. The leadership team includes:
- Chair: Jade Moore, Associate Director, Howden
- Deputy Chair: Giuseppe Castiglione, Technical Director from Gallagher Re
Amy Simmons from LIIBA serves as the LECC secretariat, playing a crucial role in connecting early career professionals through initiatives like social media engagement, webinars, industry events, and mentoring.
