Insights from The Parks Trust
Laura Beechey, Outdoor Learning Leader at The Parks Trust, shared: "Our careers events offer an opportunity for young people to think about career options and ideas. We’d love to meet anyone with an interest in working in this field now or in the future. We want people to know what it’s like to be part of the team caring for MK’s amazing parks, woodlands, and lakes - and to see what the different roles involve."
Resources for Educators
To support teachers in discussing career options with students, The Parks Trust has developed a fully resourced lesson about careers at the charity. This includes worksheets and video interviews with experts in various fields such as nature services, landscaping, property management, and marketing.
