Excellence in Education
The Margaret McMillan School of Education has been providing teacher training for nearly 70 years and achieved a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in 2023 across all training areas. Our staff supervise hundreds of trainees each year, collaborating with over 175 primary and 56 secondary schools under Bradford City Council. Bradford College Vice Principal, Sarah Applewhite, emphasizes our commitment to student outcomes and our reputation as a leading teacher training provider in the region.
Primary, Secondary, or Further Education
Whether your interest lies in primary, secondary, or further education, a variety of full and part-time teaching training programmes are available. Courses range from a BA (Hons) Education Studies degree to Master’s level and Postgraduate Diplomas in Education. As a lead partner for Initial Teaching Training (ITT) with Qualified Teacher Status, our courses are taught by experts across diverse educational settings.
