Salman Khan Breaks Silence on Career Sabotage Allegations in Explosive Bigg Boss 19 Moment

Salman Khan has recently returned to television as the host of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss 19, sparking numerous headlines. Beyond the adoration, the Sultan actor often finds himself embroiled in controversies, and this instance is no exception. Recently, filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap accused the Khan family of controlling the industry, prompting Salman to finally address these claims.

Salman Khan’s Perspective on Making and Breaking Careers

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar, actress Shehnaaz Gill joined Salman on stage. She expressed gratitude, stating, "Sir, aapne itnon ke career banaye hai" (Sir, you have made so many careers). Salman humbly responded, denying responsibility and attributing career success to a higher power: "Maine kahan banaye hain kisi ki career. Career banane waala toh upar waala hai" (I haven't made anyone's career. The one who makes careers is above).

Addressing Abhinav Kashyap's specific allegations of sabotaging careers, Salman clarified that such actions are beyond his control. He explained, "Laanchhan bhi daala hai ki kitno ke dubaaye hai. Specially dubaane waale toh mere haath mein hai hi nahi... Par agar khau na toh main apna khud ka career khaa jaunga" (There are accusations that I've ruined many careers, but ruining careers is not in my hands... If I could ruin careers, I would ruin my own). He admitted to occasional complacency but emphasized his efforts to regain focus.

Background on Abhinav Kashyap’s Allegations

Abhinav Kashyap, brother of renowned director Anurag Kashyap, directed the 2010 hit film Dabangg starring Salman Khan. Despite their professional success, their relationship deteriorated. Abhinav did not return for Dabangg 2, which impacted his career, and his subsequent film Besharam underperformed. In a recent interview, Abhinav labeled Salman a "gunda" (thug) and accused the Khan family of industry-wide control, citing instances like Anurag being dropped from Salman's film Tere Naam.
