Discover Rural Careers at the CAAV Open Evening
An open evening is offering valuable insights into rural careers, hosted by the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Agricultural Valuers Association on behalf of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). This event is part of the Route to Rural campaign, designed to educate the younger generation about diverse professional jobs in the rural sector and the pathways to enter them.
Event Details
The drop-in session will take place on Monday, October 20, from 4pm to 7.30pm at the Worcestershire Federation of Young Farmers’ Club, Shires Farm, Hawford, Worcester, WR3 7SG. It is open to Key Stage 4 students or older who are interested in exploring professional roles in the rural sector, and parents are encouraged to attend as well.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Meet local professionals currently working in rural careers.
- Learn about various career paths and the day-to-day responsibilities of different job roles.
- Gain practical advice on how to pursue a career in this field.
