Unlock Your Career Potential with New Jobs Hubs in Horsham District

Enhance Your Career Prospects in Horsham District
Residents of Horsham District seeking to improve their career prospects now have access to personalised support designed to help them thrive in today's competitive job market.
In partnership with recruitment specialists Adam Knight & Associates, Horsham District Council has launched a series of local employment support hubs as part of the Empower Your Future Programme. This initiative aims to provide guidance tailored to individual needs, whether you're looking to:
- Refine your CV
- Explore new career paths
- Start your own business
Support is available on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis, depending on each participant's readiness for work and specific circumstances.
Since the launch of these hubs in August 2024, over 40 participants have already registered. One local resident benefited significantly from the programme during their career change after becoming unemployed. Through 1-2-1 meetings, they identified barriers to employment and received tailored support, including a CV redesign, ultimately leading to successful job placement.
Cllr Joanne Knowles, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, commented:
"Our hubs are a fantastic opportunity for local residents to access valuable employment support tailored to their needs. We are already seeing a positive impact, with participants showing noticeable improvements in confidence and securing employment. I would encourage anyone looking to enhance their career prospects to get involved."
Currently, employment support hubs are available in Horsham and Steyning. For more information about the programme, visit the Horsham District Council website.
The Empower Your Future Programme is delivered by Adam Knight & Associates in collaboration with Horsham District Council and has received £65,400 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
