Upcoming Jobs Fair in Rhyl
Working Denbighshire, in collaboration with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Careers Wales, is excited to announce a Jobs Fair on Wednesday, 19th February, at the 1891 Bar & Restaurant, Rhyl. This event is a fantastic opportunity for job seekers to connect with a variety of local and nationally recognized employers across multiple sectors.

Event Details
- Time: 10am to 4pm
- Special Quiet Hour: 10am – 11am for a calmer atmosphere.
Preparation Session
To help attendees prepare, a Job Club session will be held at Rhyl Library on Thursday, 13th February, from 10am to 2pm. Here, job seekers can finalize and print their CVs or cover letters, create an action plan for the fair, and receive tailored advice.
What to Expect
Following the success of last year’s event, which showcased over 50 employers and welcomed more than 400 attendees, this year’s fair promises to be even bigger. Attendees will have the chance to:
- Explore career opportunities
- Speak directly with hiring managers
- Discover pathways into training and employment

- GLLM
- TG Williams Builders Ltd
- 2 Sisters Food Group
Representing sectors such as hospitality, manufacturing, health, and social care.

Councillor Jason McLellan, Leader of Denbighshire County Council, emphasized the importance of such events:

Working Denbighshire is part funded through the Welsh Government Communities for Work Plus Programme, aimed at supporting those most disadvantaged in the labor market.
