The Skills for Security Careers Fair will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 9.30am to 1.30pm, at Birmingham City Football Club. This focused half-day event is open to employers looking to raise awareness of roles and individuals interested in apprenticeships, training routes, and long-term careers in fire and security.
David Scott, Managing Director of Skills for Security, stated: "When we launched the first Careers Fair, the response from both employers and attendees showed there was a real appetite for this kind of practical, face-to-face engagement. Bringing it back to Birmingham allows us to continue important conversations about skills, training, and the future workforce, particularly here in the West Midlands."
What to Expect at the Fair
Visitors will have the opportunity to speak directly with industry professionals and learn more about the support available to enter and progress within the sector. The event is designed to provide a clearer understanding of career pathways and help employers engage with new and emerging talent.
