Following last year's success, the Parents' Careers Evening is back for its third year at the Humber Royal Hotel in Grimsby on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
This free event brings together education, training, apprenticeships, and career options under one roof, offering young people—and their parents, carers, and guardians—the perfect opportunity to explore what's next after school. It's an ideal setting to start conversations about the future, get expert advice, and discover local opportunities in North East Lincolnshire.
Even parents and carers might find something that sparks their own inspiration.
The event will feature over 30 local employers, including representatives from the renewable and construction industries and local colleges. Stands from organizations such as the Grimsby Town Foundation, Royal Air Force, NHS Humber Health Partnership, and North East Lincolnshire Council will also be present.
Whether you're exploring university, apprenticeships, first jobs, or simply testing the waters, there's something for everyone.
