Pupils Explore Future Careers at Aspirations Day
Bury primary school pupils recently got a glimpse into their futures during an exciting Aspirations Day at St Andrew’s CE Primary School in Ramsbottom, Bury. This event brought together parents and guests from diverse professions to inspire young minds.

Visitors included writers, doctors, lawyers, firefighters, a speech therapist, and a clinical psychologist, who shared valuable insights into their careers and the various paths available. They discussed what it takes to succeed in these fields, helping children understand the possibilities ahead.

Anne Washington, the headteacher, expressed her hopes for the day: "We hope we have inspired the children and opened their minds to the possibilities of the different career choices they could pursue in the future. It was a super day only made possible by the kind contributions of our visitors."
Hands-On Learning for Year 6 Pupils
Year 6 pupils took on the role of Cyber Crime Prevention Officers, engaging in activities like solving puzzles and interrogating evidence. This session was designed to develop STEM skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
