Impact on Students
Mrs Preissner, Assistant Headteacher, shared her thoughts: "This is a yearly event we do at FCC. We host it for Year 9, as it links well with students thinking about what GCSE options they would like to take. It was great to walk round and see students interacting with our guests and asking some really interesting questions. A number of the volunteers are ex-FCC students, so it was fantastic to have them back and learn about their career paths since school. Thank you to everyone who came in, and well done to our students for taking part with the event so professionally."
This event underscores the importance of early career exposure in shaping future decisions and fostering a proactive approach to education and job readiness in the UK.
