King’s Worcester is thrilled to announce its fourth annual Careers Extravaganza, a premier event open to pupils from King’s and the wider Worcestershire community, starting from Year 6 and above. This exciting initiative aims to broaden perspectives on diverse career pathways and inspire the next generation.

Event Details
Taking place in the school’s historic College Hall at the start of February, the event spans two afternoons, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM each day. With over 60 businesses expected to participate, this year’s fair is set to be the biggest yet, featuring a wide variety of exhibitors including current and former pupils and parents from the King’s community who have achieved success in their careers.
Tickets are free of charge, but booking is essential to manage numbers and dietary requirements.
Day 1: Careers in STEM
Tuesday 3rd February focuses on STEM careers, with exhibitors from sectors such as:
- Medical
- Environmental – Sustainable & Renewable Energy
- Engineering & Manufacturing
- Technology
- Science
- Armed Forces
- Apprenticeships
Keynote speakers include GP Dr Vicki Hicks and Lead Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner Jos Williams, who will share insights into their professional journeys in healthcare.

Day 2: Careers in Business & Creative Industries
Wednesday 4th February highlights Business and Creative Industries, featuring exhibitors from:
- Financial Services
- Marketing & Communications
- Entrepreneurs
- Law & Charity
- Property, Real Estate & Land
- Creative Business
- Digital Transformation
Keynote speakers Daniel Maguire, Group Head at LSEG Markets Division, and entrepreneur Hannah Edwards, founder of Eva Capital, will discuss their leadership journeys in finance and wealth management.
