The Largest Music Industry Careers Event is Back!
This March, the largest annual music industry careers event for young people in the North of England returns! In partnership with top music organizations such as Universal Music, Spotify, UK Music, AdLib, PLASA, LIPA, Revere Arts, and LIMF Academy, the Music Industry Careers Fest is the perfect venue to explore career opportunities in music, network with industry professionals, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

- Date: Saturday, 8 March 2024
- Keynote Speaker: Jonny Abraham, composer and member of Public Service Broadcasting will share his insights, joined by Ellie Ajao, a Freelance Broadcaster, for a Q&A session.

Engaging Workshops and Talks
This year’s fest will feature a variety of workshops, demonstrations, and talks by industry experts, including:
- ‘Careers in the Music Recording Industry’ led by Bryan Johnson, Head of Artist & Industry Partnerships at Spotify.
- ‘Careers in Classical Music’ presented by DECCA Records.
- ‘Social Media Planning in the Music Industry’ hosted by Howard Monk, CEO of The WRD.
Additional sessions will cover essential skills like networking, CV curation, and soundcheck management. Attendees will also learn how to create a promo plan in just 30 minutes and develop a portfolio career in music.
The event promises to explore a wide array of career paths including performing, composing, songwriting, sound engineering, technical and production roles, and more.
