Join UK Power Networks as an Assistant Projects Town Planner and play a vital role in securing the planning, highways and environmental consents that keep our Capital Programme moving. What You'll Do
- Support the delivery of planning, highways and environmental consents
- Work with planning authorities, stakeholders and legal teams
- Help shape consents strategies for major network infrastructure projects
- Build strong relationships with key external partners
- Represent Consents at meetings and contribute to an engaged team culture
- Follow a structured 2‑year internal training plan
What You'll Bring
- GCSEs (Maths, English, Science) + A‑levels / Level 4 (or willingness to achieve)
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- High safety awareness and a proactive, team‑focused approach
- Desire to grow your expertise in planning and utilities consenting
Bonus Points (training Provided) Experience in utilities, town planning, project management, or knowledge of consenting legislation.
