Role Description

We are seeking a Corporate Tax Professional for a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham. The responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing corporate tax computations, assisting with tax planning and advisory projects, liaising with clients to provide tailored tax advice, and ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations. The role also involves supporting senior team members in delivering high-quality advisory services to both owner-managed businesses and larger corporations, while contributing to the development of client relationships and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, compliance, tax planning, and strategic advisory services
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply tax legislation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to confidently interact with clients and team members
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA (or equivalent) are desirable
  • Experience with Excel, tax software, and financial reporting tools
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing deadlines and workloads
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with knowledge of international tax considerations being advantageous
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and contributing to a collaborative team environment
