Marketing Director – Branded CPGAre you a senior marketing leader who wants to play an instrumental role in one of the FMCG industry’s next major success stories? I’m partnering with a CPG business on an incredibly exciting journey, backed by one of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors in the consumer goods space. Across multiple categories, he has built, scaled and exited brands worth more than £150m+ and his latest focus is on taking this business to the next level.

The ambition is bold, to scale from £30m+ to £100m. The investment is there, the intent is clear and with an exceptional Managing Director now at the helm, the strategy, leadership and platform are all in place to make it happen.

As Marketing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving demand, building brands that consumers genuinely connect with and creating long term value for both the business and its brand partners.

This is a traditional brand marketing role, requiring an experienced and agile consumer marketing expert. The diversity of the brand portfolio will bring out the breadth of your full mix experience from brand strategy, consumer insight and segmentation, ATL, digital and social, content and influencer to innovation/NPD. Through your own drive and inquisitive nature, you will be well informed and not afraid to challenge conventional rules in planning strategy and campaigns to drive consumer demand growth. You’ll also lead, mentor and develop the Marketing team, setting the direction, raising capability and leading from the front to build a best in class function fit for the next stage of growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Defining and delivering the long-term brand strategy and positioning across the portfolio.
  • Leading consumer insight and segmentation to ensure every marketing decision is driven by meaningful data and understanding.
  • Developing impactful ATL campaigns and integrated marketing communications.
  • Owning the digital, social media and content strategy, including influencer partnerships and creator collaborations.
  • Driving the innovation and NPD pipeline, identifying new opportunities to fuel sustainable growth.
  • Building brand equity by creating compelling consumer experiences beyond the point of purchase.
  • Managing media strategy, investment and effectiveness to maximise return on investment.
  • Delivering consumer activation campaigns, experiential marketing and brand-building initiatives.
  • Creating annual brand plans that align with wider commercial objectives.
  • Developing strong, long-term partnerships with brand owners and key stakeholders.
