Overview We have a vacancy for a Corporate Tax Associate to work in our Tax team in our Manchester office. This is a full-time permanent role with opportunities for progression. Principal Responsibilities

  • Handling client and third-party relationships on your diverse corporate tax portfolio
  • Preparing tax provisions, including deferred tax, for our tax clients
  • Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns
  • Review of tax provisions for audit
  • Dealing with client queries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Working within an agreed fee and to set deadlines
  • Assisting senior team with advisory projects

Accountabilities/Key Performance Indicators

  • High quality service provided to all clients
  • WIP and billing process managed effectively
  • Team working

Qualification/Attributes

  • Previous experience of corporate tax compliance is essential
  • Part qualified in a relevant professional qualification (CTA or ACA/CTA combined) or ATT qualified
  • Motivated to provide the highest quality service to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A team player able to work on their own initiative.
  • An interest in getting involved in business development and promoting initiatives would be beneficial
