Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting core accounting processes. This is a great opportunity for an early-career finance professional or someone looking to develop hands-on experience across accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial administration.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business and help ensure efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing purchase invoices, expense claims and supplier payments, ensuring accurate coding, batching and timely payment.
  • Support accounts receivable tasks, including raising invoices, posting receipts and chasing outstanding balances.
  • Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations and support month-end close activities.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable/receivable ledgers and assist with payment runs and bank uploads.
  • Assist with basic financial reporting, file organisation, and data entry into accounting systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including handling queries from internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvements of accounting processes.
