We are looking for Import Merchandisers for roles both in the North East and West Yorkshire!Import Merchandiser – Overview

Some exciting opportunities have arisen for Import Merchandisers. These roles would suit someone organised, analytical and eager to develop their career within merchandising and product supply.

You will assist with managing the critical path, liaising with suppliers, and helping to ensure products are delivered on time and in line with customer requirements.

Import Merchandiser Responsibilities

  • Raising and maintaining purchase orders and ensuring order information is accurate across internal systems
  • Assisting with monitoring and updating the critical path to support on-time delivery of orders
  • Liaising with factories and suppliers to track production progress and delivery timelines
  • Supporting the team in chasing samples, lab dips and approvals in line with agreed deadlines
  • Assisting with shipment tracking and helping ensure deliveries are scheduled on time
  • Supporting the Merchandising team with basic sales, stock and order analysis
  • Maintaining accurate product, order and shipment data across internal systems
  • Working closely with Buying, Technical and Merchandising teams to support smooth product flow
  • Assisting with ensuring packaging, labelling and compliance information is correctly recorded
  • Supporting general administrative and coordination tasks within the merchandising department

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good analytical and numerical ability
  • Competent using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in merchandising, buying admin or a similar fashion head office role would be beneficial but not essential
