About the Role

DHC Electrical is seeking an experienced Company Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy electrical contracting business. The successful candidate must understand how a construction environment operates and be confident managing documentation, subcontractor compliance, financial tracking and project support.

You will work closely with the Director and site teams to ensure projects run smoothly from a commercial and administrative standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and updating subcontractor details, compliance records and PQQ documentation
  • Managing subcontractor folders and ensuring all required insurances and certifications are in place
  • PAYE Timesheet processing
  • Processing invoices in and out (supplier & subcontractor)
  • Assisting with budget tracking and cost monitoring across live projects
  • Maintaining applications for payment and completion trackers
  • Inputting and managing project data within internal systems and trackers
  • Booking hotels, travel and site logistics for engineers
  • Supporting commercial processes including variations and document control

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience working for an Electrical Contractor, M&E Contractor or Construction company
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor compliance and construction documentation
  • Experience with invoice processing and basic accounts procedures
  • Confident using Excel for tracking budgets, applications and project data
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload without constant supervisor

Desirable

  • Knowledge of NICEIC documentation processes
  • Experience supporting commercial teams or Directors
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems
