Financial Controller

Forge Talent are excited to be exclusively partnering a Manufacturing business as they embark on the search for a Financial Controller in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to divisions/Group.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Be the divisional point of contact for external auditors Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis.
• Lead annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for the divisions.
• Provide variance analysis with insights into operational and financial drivers.
• Support division with financial modelling to inform/influence business decisions.
• Cost Accounting & Inventory Management, product costing, overhead absorption.
• Partner with operations to improve cost efficiency, labour efficiency and inventory control.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management.
• Monitor and manage divisional cash flows, credit control and supplier payments through 13 week rolling cash flow forecasting.
• Drive improvements in working capital, including inventory, receivables and payables.
• Internal controls, procedures and divisional reporting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Logistics/Construction.
• 5+ years in a similar role.

Salary & Benefits:

• £70,000-£75,000
