About the Role
Hanwha Vision Europe, a leading provider of IP video surveillance and security solutions, is looking for a proactive and results-driven Regional Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts across the Midlands region. Reporting to the UK & Ireland Country Manager, you will be the main point of contact for distributors, system integrators, A&E contacts, and end users. This role is a fantastic opportunity to drive business growth, develop lasting relationships, and contribute to the expansion of a fast-growing security technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with key security industry accounts, including distributors, system integrators, A&E customers, and end users.
- Identify opportunities to upsell Hanwha Vision security solutions within existing accounts.
- Prepare business proposals and offers for both new and existing customers in the security and video surveillance sector.
- Track and report on project progress, sales activity, and KPIs for assigned accounts.
- Provide product and software training to ensure partners can effectively sell Hanwha security solutions.
- Ensure partners have the required security product range to succeed in the market.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with Marketing to organize events and activities that engage and inspire customers.
- Attend trade shows and security industry events in the UK & Ireland.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales or account management role within the security or video surveillance industry.
- Strong knowledge of the UK security market, key channels, and potential customers.
- Proven experience selling to distributors and system integrators in the region.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding of new technologies in the security sector.
- Business or technical degree desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
- Clean driving license and ability to travel across the Midlands region.
- Fluent in English.
Performance Metrics
Your performance will be measured based on:
- Order intake and revenue growth from assigned accounts.
- Development and growth of existing key accounts.
- Contribution to regional business performance and solutions development efforts.
- Collaboration with UK A&E Consultants and National Accounts Manager.
Location & Travel
- This is a field-based role in the Midlands, UK. Candidates should be based locally to ensure coverage of their region, with a minimum of one visit per month to Head Office in Chertsey, Surrey, plus additional visits as required.
