📢 Instrument & Control Engineer – Aberdeen
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Instrument & Control Engineer to support a major offshore North Sea asset.

⚙️ Offshore Oil & Gas / Brownfield Engineering
The role will provide Instrument & Controls technical support within a multi-disciplinary asset team, delivering engineering solutions and brownfield modifications while working closely with operations, EPC contractors and systems vendors.
Key experience we’re looking for:
• Broad Instrument & Systems Engineering experience
• Previous experience supporting an offshore operator
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61511 and BS EN 60079
• Instrument specifications, datasheets and design calculations
• Control systems design requirements
• Strong understanding of P&IDs, loop diagrams, pneumatic hook-ups and termination drawings
• Experience with Management of Change processes
• Strong project development and execution experience
• Experience managing engineering contractors and service providers
• Ability to review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, datasheets, design assessments, vendor documentation and workpacks
Essential:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science
• Functional Safety Engineer Certification
• Broad Instrument and Systems Engineering background
Desirable:
• Professional Registration
• CompEx 12 Application Design Engineer Certification
