Supervisor

Link Cable Assemblies Ltd is looking to hire a Supervisor responsible for managing a production area with a team of around 30 people.

Your Role:

Day to day responsibilities will include managing the workflow of the team by assigning tasks, dealing with Health and Safety on the shopfloor, supporting and training staff, ensure the highest quality standards are upheld, monitoring results and efficiency, reviewing and improving current processes and reporting to management.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have skills dealing with

• Performance management
• Quality assurance
• Prioritisation and time management skills
• Basic IT Skills (Mainly Excel)

Supervisor duties and responsibilities

• Dealing with leave requests and arranging cover when necessary
• Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets
• Briefing their teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news
• Maintaining safety standards
• Training and helping staff reach their professional development goals
• Ensuring that quality standards are upheld
• Conducting performance reviews
