We’re working with a busy and growing commercial property team who are looking for a Paralegal to join them in Manchester. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants exposure to high-value projects across Manchester and the North West.

You’ll support fee earners across a wide range of transactional work, manage your own responsibilities day-to-day, and act as a key point of contact for clients and third parties. Strong organisation, accuracy, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and preparing contracts, supplemental documents, completion statements, and financial breakdowns
  • Setting up and maintaining datarooms, and preparing sale and refinance packs
  • Liaising with lender solicitors on refinance matters and managing enquiries
  • Arranging execution of security documents and returning them ahead of completion
  • Reviewing title documents, Land Registry copies, planning permissions, and ownership information
  • Ordering and reviewing local authority, drainage, environmental, and other searches
  • Ensuring full AML and client due diligence compliance
  • Managing key dates for exchange and completion and coordinating all parties involved
  • Preparing and circulating completion packs and handling undertakings and funds
  • Calculating and filing SDLT returns and overseeing post-completion registration
  • Assisting with Land Registry requisitions and providing updated title documents to clients and lenders
  • Preparing invoices and managing client account funds in line with SRA rules
  • Maintaining compliant files and supporting closing and archiving processes

What we need from you:

  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, in a client-facing role
  • Proactive team player who enjoys a varied workload
  • Previous property or paralegal experience, ideally in a commercial environment
