Lead the articulation of the GM Digital business performance through the coordination of necessary weekly and periodic materials. Through your team, ensuring teams are clear on what performance inputs they need to provide, developing clear and helpful templates designed to support excellent performance discussions.

Research and understand our competitors, looking into their strategies, propositions and performance. Employ this knowledge to help inform our own trade strategy and identify business opportunities.

Work with the customer insight team to understand who our digital customer is and what’s driving their behaviour, utilising internal and external segmentations and data. Channel this insight to step on our plans and actions and deliver across the wider Digital team.

Develop our understanding and knowledge of customer “value” to inform and influence business actions (e.g. customer acquisition and retention activities) – supporting a healthy P&L for the division.

Analyse multiple data sources and turn them in to clear reporting / messages and actions for the Digital Leadership Team. Importantly, you’ll need to decipher what performance trends are most vital to get after.

Support the creation of clear post implementation reviews across teams to understand how specific activities and campaigns have performed and feeding that back into the necessary teams to ensure we are optimising for the future.

Work with our Applied Analytics and Reporting teams to ensure reporting and performance dashboards provide relevant information, which is understandable, trusted and timely – taking the lead role in interpreting the outputs.

Work closely with our analytics teams to drive continuous improvement of our reporting and dashboarding capabilities so that we democratise the data we have and drive a step change in its sophistication of our insights and their actionability.

Work closely with the marketing insight teams to ensure our priorities are aligned and collectively we are delivering the insight and reporting that the business needs.

Represent GM digital in propositional enhancements and optimisations projects (e.g. delivery proposition changes) to ensure our needs are taken into account and there is a digital voice influencing and informing the direction.
