Are you an experienced Logistics professional ready for a new challenge? Due to our continued success and growth, we are seeking a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team in our Campsie site, Derry/Londonderry. As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials from suppliers through to customers. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your organisational skills and attention to detail will directly support operational performance and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the relevant Operations/Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, managing stock control, and supporting efficient distribution processes while ensuring compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical supply chain operations within a growing and innovative manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinating transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective service.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, processing orders, and maintaining stock control processes.
  • Liaising with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate logistics records, documentation, and shipment tracking information.
  • Managing distribution activities in line with company policies and operational requirements.
  • Updating the Shipping Log Requirements (SLR) system and tracking shipment status from planning through to delivery.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve logistics processes and recommending practical solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
  • Tracking and reporting logistics performance including delivery times, cost efficiency, and service levels.

  • Previous experience working in logistics, supply chain, or a similar co-ordination role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or ERP systems.

Desirable Skills, Qualification And Experience

  • Knowledge of transport regulations and shipping documentation requirements.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
