Registered Children's Residential Manager – 4 Bedded EBD Home

Salary: £60,000 + Bonuses (up to £5,000 Ofsted Bonus)
Zen Care and Education is a growing, child-centred residential care provider based in the North West. We are passionate about creating therapeutic environments where young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) can feel safe, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead one of our 4 bedded Ofsted-rated homes. This is an excellent opportunity to shape a nurturing, trauma-informed service that makes a genuine difference in children’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a 4 bedded EBD home in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards.
- Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and daily operations.
- Inspire, develop, and support a passionate residential care team.
- Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and local authorities to achieve positive outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety, trust, and high-quality care.
Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a children’s residential home.
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare (required).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (preferred or willing to work towards).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
