This role covers elements of direct, and indirect taxes, tax reporting, and transfer pricing, while supporting tax governance, transactions, and business initiatives. The position partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors to assist with managing tax risk, responding to legislative change, and assisting the Group Tax Director in managing the group’s tax position. **Key Responsibilities**

*   Providing assistance to the Group Tax Director with day-to-day queries and all aspects of tax compliance.
*   Assisting external advisers with preparation of tax provisions for the consolidated and single entity accounts
*   Assisting with managing relationships with overseas advisors to ensure timely compliance with internal and external tax matters.
*   Supporting with the preparation of CT payment on account calculations.
*   Support the Group Tax Director with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany arrangements
*   Assist with VAT compliance across multiple entities, to ensure timely and accurate completion/submission of all Group VAT returns.

**What Are We Looking For**

*   Candidates must be ACA, ACCA, etc or CTA qualified
*   Strong tax technical knowledge, in particular, ability to accurately prepare year-end tax accounting provisions and disclosures is essential
*   Attention to Detail & Accuracy
*   Confidence in working with senior stakeholders, non-tax teams and with external advisers.
*   Strong ability to manage deadlines and track deliverables
*   Willingness to challenge, ask questions and expand tax technical knowledge

This is a senior second line role providing independent oversight, challenge and insight across the organisation’s management of data-related risks. Working at the intersection of data, technology, risk and regulation, you'll play a key role in influencing decision-making, strengthening risk management practices and supporting safe, sustainable innovation. **Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doingRisk Oversight & Challenge**

*   Provide independent second-line supervision and critical review of data-related risks across business areas, pivotal initiatives and transformation programmes.
*   Assess how well data risk governance, controls and frameworks perform, ensuring alignment to risk appetite, regulatory expectations and the Group Risk Management Framework.
*   Provide clear, evidence-based risk opinions and recommendations to support risk decisions, remediation activity and investment outcomes.

**Monitoring, Assessment & Insight**

*   Monitor the data risk landscape, identifying emerging risks, control weaknesses, systemic themes and technology-related risks.
*   Analyse risk indicators, incidents, assurance findings and management information to provide data-driven insight and challenge.
*   Evolve risk reporting, metrics and oversight approaches to improve risk visibility and support timely management action including policy compliance assessment.

**Strategy, Change & Technology**

*   Provide oversight and challenge across major change programmes, regulatory developments and new technologies including AI and cloud.
*   Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Group's data risk framework, appetite and oversight approach.
*   Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the three lines of defence to influence effective risk management and positive customer outcomes.

**Technical Data Risk Expertise (Essential)** You'll bring expertise across a range of data risk disciplines, including:

*   Data governance, quality, lineage and metadata.
*   Privacy, retention, records management and data lifecycle controls.
*   Data architecture, cloud technologies, AI and advanced analytics.

You'll also provide expert guidance on complex data risk issues and assess how technology, operating models and data capabilities influence risk exposure. **What We Hope To Find**

*   Significant experience in data risk, data governance, data management or a related risk subject area within a complex organisation.
*   Solid grasp of frameworks, oversight, safeguards, and risk management addressing potential threats to data throughout its lifecycle.
*   Knowledge of modern data environments, including cloud-based systems, cognitive computing, in-depth analytical methods, and data architecture.
*   Experience delivering autonomous review, critical evaluation and assurance, with the ability to assess risk frameworks, controls and operating models.
*   Excellent analytical, communication and partner management skills, capable of influencing senior decision-makers and driving positive risk outcomes.

**It would be great if you also have**

*   Experience leading thematic reviews, risk assessments or assurance activities within a Non-Financial risk environment.
*   Professional qualifications in risk, data management, data governance, privacy or technology-related disciplines.
*   Knowledge of BCBS239, GDPR, UK Data Protection requirements, AI governance or other relevant regulatory frameworks.
*   Experience supporting risk and control-by-design within AI, cloud, data transformation or large-scale technology change programmes.

Role Overview

This Team Administrator role will be a permanent role, the ideal candidate will deliver administrative service and support to Investment Managers, Portfolio Managers, clients, introducers and responds to requests from supporting functions. This is achieved by having a clear and precise understanding of all the processes and procedures that are undertaken within the administrative team.

Role Responsibilities

• Open, scan and save post to client files

• Answer and respond to client and introducer queries on the phone and email

• Stay on top of workflow queues and respond to requests

• Book meetings for the IM team

• Liaise with appropriate teams for the effective onboarding of new clients

• Initiate incoming and outgoing transfers, keeping the Investment Manager/ Portfolio Manager updated with progress regularly

• Instruct internal transfers of cash and stock from one portfolio to another

• Complete payment instructions from clients, including taking payment instructions and arranging call backs to clients, if required

• Complete client KYC data amendments and account amendments

• Process ISA/ LISA/ JISA and Flexible ISA subscriptions

• Assist with meeting preparation, including printing and binding client and introducer reports and presentations

• Build relationships with introducers and their para-planning team, as well as with clients of the team

• Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role as a Team Administrator within Wealth or Investment Management preferred but not essential

• Demonstrable interest in and understanding of financial services

• Proven organisation, planning and prioritising skills

• Demonstrable level of attention to detail

• Ability to engage with diverse clients, Professional Advisers, Investment Managers, product providers and internal stakeholders

• Possess a passion and energy to deliver successful outcomes for our advisers and clients
