To oversee the Domestic Services department, supervising the Housekeeping Supervisor and Domestic Assistants. Responsible for allocating workloads, maintaining schedules, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and compliance with company policies.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

\* Conduct regular visits to all homes to ensure cleanliness standards and adherence to company policies.

\* Attend HR meetings to address sickness, leave, attendance, and employment changes.

\* Participate in recruitment: attend interviews, arrange trial shifts, and conduct induction training.

\* Ensure COSHH compliance: deliver training, review data sheets, and design risk assessments.

\* Design and maintain 24-week training booklets; provide ongoing training as needed.

\* Collaborate with service managers and infection control to meet cleanliness standards.

\* Implement and communicate safe systems of work for all domestic tasks.

\* Maintain and update cleaning schedules in line with company standards.

\* Monitor stock levels and costs for laundry and cleaning supplies; ensure budget compliance.

\* Review domestic staffing ratios to meet home requirements.

\* Manage annual leave for domestic staff with HR support.

\* Conduct environmental audits to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

\* Action health and safety reports and inspection recommendations in a timely manner.

\* Attend corporate health and safety meetings and follow up on action plans.

\* Conduct regular supervision and annual appraisals for the Housekeeping Supervisor.

\* Organize and document domestic department meetings; share minutes with relevant managers.

\* Support new developments/refurbishments: plan layouts, select furnishings, and prepare rooms for new service users.

\* Attend additional meetings related to the domestic department as required.

**Key Hiring Criteria:**

*   You'll need to hold CS 30, 31, Chipper, 1 st Aid and ideally will hold CS 32, 38, 39, 40, 41, 45, UA 1, 2.1, 5, PA1, PA6AW, B+E, .
*   Risk Assessment Training, and Environmental Risk Assessment Training
*   As the lead member of a dedicated maintenance team, you will undertake vegetation management and other operations on our National Grid Vegetation Management Contract. Commercial Administrator

**Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Wales on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. *   Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins
*   Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns
*   Ensuring all project works are compliant to CDM 2015
*   Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading
*   Ensure EQUANS SHEQ practices and processes are fully embedded in each project
*   Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures
*   Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end”. Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties

*   Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans
*   Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business

JG Hale Group Limited, are a multi award winning Company delivering major residential construction projects for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and the private building market across Wales. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our busy construction team. You will be responsible for project managing constructions sites ranging in value from 5 to 30 million consisting of residential social housing contracts with some private and commercial build projects in the Swansea, Cardiff and Newport areas.

**Duties and responsibilities will include:**

•      Overseeing day to day operations of the project

•      Liaising and reporting to Contracts manager/construction director and scheme Quantity Surveyor

•      Confirming building plans with the Contracts Manager and key sub-contractors

•      Managing site employees (directly and indirectly employed) and sub-contractors working on the project, ensuring that they work in safe manner, are productive and complete the work to a high standard at all times

•      Creating schedules and programmes so projects are completed before deadlines

•      Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials

•      Working closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety regulations for the life of the project and ensure all site staff are operating in a safe manner

•      Monitoring construction budget to minimise potential overspending

•      Liaising with Client Clerk of works and client project manager

•      Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

•      Monitoring progress, report on milestones, and resolve site challenges effectively

•      Providing progress reports to the Contracts Manager and stakeholders as required

•      Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors

**The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:**

•      SMSTS Qualification is essential

•      A valid CSCS card is essential

•      HNC/HND qualification in a construction/engineering subject is desirable

•      You will be an experienced Project Manager or a Site Manager looking for the next step in your career

•      You must possess the ability to work to tight deadlines

•      Must have effective communication skills both written and verbal

•      Must possess a good understanding and technical knowledge of the construction industry including the contract process and law

•      Have a can- do attitude with the ability to work well in and lead a team

•      You must have good Maths and IT skills and be proficient at using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
